What is the Battle Ground Education Foundation?
The Battle Ground Education Foundation was formed in 1994 to help cover the gap between public funding and the financial realities of educating children.
BGEF is an all volunteer organization serving approximately 13,000 students across 18 Battle Ground Schools.
Our efforts directly impact students and staff of Battle Ground Public Schools
How Does the Foundation Impact BGPS Staff and Students?
Since 1996, BGEF has spent over $200,000 to support students and staff through programs and materials.
Here are some ways in which we help:

2013-2014 Honoring BG Staff Program
With a decline in interest for the Teachers Make a Difference Program, the BGEF decided to revamp how we honor Battle Ground Staff throughout the district this school year.
Hopefully you have seen the pictures and read articles on the district website and in The Reflector pointing to how we chose to honor BG staff.
Each month we selected 2 to 3 schools to honor with a continental breakfast and cash donation provided by the Foundation.
How Can You Help BGEF?
We would love to again have the ability to provide grant cycles for specific staff needs and to continue with a program to honor BG staff next year, but we need your help.
