What is the Battle Ground Education Foundation?
The Battle Ground Education Foundation was formed in 1994 to help cover the gap between public funding and the financial realities of educating children.
BGEF is an all volunteer organization serving approximately 13,000 students across 18 Battle Ground Schools.
Our efforts directly impact students and staff of Battle Ground Public Schools
How Does the Foundation Impact BGPS Staff and Students?
Since 1996, BGEF has spent over $300,000 to support students and staff through programs and materials.
Here are some ways in which we help:
Needy Kids Fund
Family and Community Resource Center
Health and Safety Support for schools
Support of School Improvement Plans; Classroom level, Librairies, Whole School initiatives
Read Across America Celebration
Each month we selected 2 to 3 schools to honor with a continental breakfast and cash donation provided by the Foundation.
How Can You Help BGEF?
We would love to again have the ability to provide grant cycles for specific staff needs and to continue with a program to honor BG staff next year, but we need your help.
