BGeF Gala – October 4!

We love summertime at BGeF! While our teachers, staff & students enjoy their well-deserved break, we’re buzzing away here at the office prepping for an exciting lineup of events.

On Saturday August 16, we’re featuring two events simultaneously!

• We’ll be supporting FCRC at Walmart and Fred Meyer 10-2 as always for Stuff the Bus, the annual school supply drive. Be on the lookout for more info–we’re always looking for volunteers to help pass out shopping lists and take the supplies to the waiting buses. This year we’re delighted to be joined by the folks at IQCU who are bringing their own wonderful bus to the party!

 

• We’ll also host a booth at the annual resource fair @ the community center, sponsored by Battle Ground Pride. It’s a great chance for us to share our work with folks in the Battle Ground area, build new relationships, and see how we can serve the students and families of BGPS even better. We’ll also be collecting a few needed supplies for our kiddos, including Ticonderoga pencils, Clorox wipes, and Crayola 8-pack markers!

 

On Saturday, October 4, we’re hoping you’ll join us for our biggest event of the year, the BGeF Gala! We’re kicking things up a notch–yes, even more than in the past! and can’t wait for you to see and experience all we have planned for you. What you can count on? A decadent and tasty dinner; a lively auction (both silent & live); and a program overflowing with stories, student presentations, and a stirring glimpse into the heart of our schools. Early bird tickets are on sale now; the price goes up August 1, but every bit of it’s on behalf of our students and schools.
