August is that rare and wonderful time of year when store aisles burst with both pool noodles and protractors, an electric mix of summer fun and the looming first day of school. Here at BGEF, we’re embracing both by throwing our annual Stuff the Bus event.
From 10 – 2 on Saturday, August 20, join us at Battle Ground’s Fred Meyer or Walmart, grab a list from the BGEF volunteer, and get shopping! You’ll drop your purchases in the BGEF shopping carts out front. These supplies will go directly to Battle Ground students needing a bit of extra help to start their school year. The fun and help won’t stop there, of course! Mark your calendars now for September 22’s “Give More 24” fundraising event, and of course our annual auction and dinner, “Destination Graduation,” on October 1. Details coming soon about both of these events; we hope you’ll be able to join us!
